A constantly evolving platform for experimentation!
The time has come for the “Wasp”, our modular rapid interception vessel, to change its engines!
After being fitted with a triple Mercury Verado 350 hp engine (from 2018 to 2019), the prototype has been fitted with the exclusive 2020 innovations: the Mercury Verado 400 hp. This increased power for the same weight, which enabled the site’s test platform to see its performance increase!
Faster, therefore, and easier to handle, while maintaining exceptional seakeeping at high speed:
– a transit speed of 40 knots
– an operational speed of 55 knots.
After a year rich in sailing and tests in different sea conditions with many operational people from the maritime world, the 3 engines are heading for other horizons.
We are proud to be able to count on our partner “Mercury France”, who has been supporting the project for more than 3 years now and who continues to share their innovations with us every year!
In the meantime, the Wasp is going to follow a small refit site to welcome other new products… to be continued…
